Fitbit has released a new fitness tracker called Luxe, which looks like a sleeker version of the Inspire 2.
It is noted that the Luxe fitness tracker has been designed for “a variety of wrist sizes and skin tones for 24/7 wear.” Fitbit says the Luxe is the thinnest touchscreen tracker to date. The company believes most people will sleep comfortably with this new product.
The device does not contain buttons. The tracker uses a color OLED touchscreen display. The device is able to track physical activity, sleep phases and heart rate. In addition, the monitoring of the Stress Management Score is reported, for this, a companion application is used. By tracking your activity level, sleep pattern and heart rate, the device is designed to help you manage stress. With the app, Luxe can track many other metrics such as breathing, heart rate, skin temperature, mood, sleep and menstrual cycle. The device will also be able to measure the oxygen level in the blood (Sp02) shortly after being launched on the market. The Luxe fitness tracker supports the ability to record GPS data when paired with a smartphone. So to track your runs or walks, you need to take your smartphone with you. The novelty is capable of working without recharging for up to 5 days.
The new Fitbit Luxe fitness tracker is already available for pre-order for $ 149.95, and in fact, shipments should begin in the spring. The price of the device also includes access to Fitbit Premium service for 6 months, which usually costs $ 9.99 per month.
