As promised, Xiaomi today held a virtual event dedicated to presenting the global version of the flagship Mi 11 smartphone.

Xiaomi Mi 11: Display and Screen
The AMOLED display of Mi 11 has a diagonal of 6.81 ″ and a WQHD + resolution (3200 × 1440 pixels), the pixel density is 515 PPI, the screen refresh rate is 120 Hz, and the sensor polling rate is 480 Hz. The matrix has a peak brightness of 1500 nits and 10-bit color depth. There is support for HDR10 +. The display has small fillets on the sides, but a special sensor should prevent accidental presses. The screen is covered with a protective Gorilla Glass Victus glass.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Processor
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset provides the top performance of the smartphone. Let me remind you that the Chinese version of the Mi 11 was the first device with this chip. RAM type LPDDR5 installed 8 GB. UFS 3.1 onboard storage up to 256GB.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Cameras
Mi 11 is equipped with a camera block that consists of three modules. The main sensor has a resolution of 108 MP, an aperture of f / 1.85 and optical stabilization, 13 MP ultra-wide – a viewing angle of 123 ° and an aperture of f / 2.4, and a 5 MP telemacro – aperture of f / 2.4. It allows you to shoot from a distance of 3-10 cm. Night mode is supported when shooting with the main, wide-angle, and front cameras. The latter, by the way, has a resolution of 20 MP.
Xiaomi notes that the Mi 11’s video capabilities should delight many content creators. The smartphone offers various shooting modes to achieve interesting effects. Also, the video editor has a set of cinematic filters for processing captured videos. There is also an Ultra Night Video mode for night shooting and support for HDR10 +.

Separately, during the presentation, we focused on the audio component of the smartphone. The sound in Mi 11 was handled by Harman/Kardon specialists, which allows you to count on good quality stereo speakers. Also, note that the simultaneous connection of two Bluetooth speakers or headphones is supported.
The global version of the proprietary MIUI 12.5 shell was also announced. It received several improvements and fixes and improved devices’ performance due to better work with hardware. The first updates to MIUI 12.5 will begin to receive Mi 11 and last year’s flagships in the second quarter of 2021.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Battery and Connectivity
Mi 11 was equipped with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 (Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo Plus, AAC / LDAC / LHDC / aptX / aptX-Adaptive codecs), GPS, NFC, infrared. The smartphone has a 4600 mAh battery with support for 55W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse charging. The kit will include a 55W GaN charging unit.
Xiaomi Mi 11: Price
Xiaomi Mi 11 is offered in two colors: Horizon Blue and Midnight Gray. They also promise to release a smartphone in Cloud White and a limited edition Special Edition. The cost of new items is 749 Euros for the 8/128 GB version and 799 Euros for the 8/256 GB version.
