Ubisoft decided to close Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad – Today’s update will be the last for the project, which will cease to exist on October 4th. On this day, Ubisoft will shut down the failed mobile action game servers, after which the game will stop running.

“We deeply regret to inform you that we will no longer release new content for Elite Squad. Today’s update will be the last one, and on October 4, 2021, we will be shutting down the servers. It was not an easy decision, but after exploring several options with our teams, we came to the conclusion that the project was no longer viable.

The company stressed that, for their part, they made every effort, mentioning the release of the 2nd season, and thanked the community for their support.

Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad, an action RPG with 5v5 PvP mode and characters from Tom Clancy’s franchise, was released on iOS and Android in August 2020. Thus, the project lasted only a year.
