TikTok developers have announced that soon it will be possible to upload videos up to 10 minutes long to the application. This is the first major change to the app since July 2021, when the duration of videos on the platform was increased from 1 minute to 3 minutes.
A spokesperson for the developer said: “We are always thinking of new ways to add value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience. Last year, we introduced longer videos, giving our community more time to create and have fun. Today we are excited to begin rolling out the ability to upload videos up to 10 minutes long and hope this will open up even more creative possibilities for our users.”.
The new feature is currently in beta testing. The company said that it will be rolled out to all users in the next few weeks.
