We’ve all become accustomed to the fact that Netflix constantly provides tons of entertainment content. Each month, the streaming giant offers many premieres, including series. It is especially pleasant to watch them with our wonderful and very high-quality Ukrainian dubbing. In this selection, we talk about the most interesting, in our opinion, new series of 2022 that have been released or will soon be released on Netflix. So if you suddenly missed something, now you can catch up or prepare for the premiere.
“Archive 81” / Archive 81

Restorer Dan Turner is commissioned by a client to restore fire-damaged video footage. To perform this work, a man is forced to go to a distant home, where there is no connection with the outside world.
On the video footage, Dan sees footage from a 25-year-old documentary showing Melody Pendras, a graduate student in the Department of Social Anthropology, trying to find a missing girl. Dan also learns that Melody was a patient of his father and that he may have had something to do with the case. Ahead of the hero is waiting for many more surprises.
Vikings: Valhalla / Vikings: Valhalla

February 25 was obviously not the best date to start watching a new series. And if you missed the Vikings spin-off, we remind you of it now. The action takes place a century after the events of the original series. It tells about a new generation of glorious warriors who have fallen on hard trials. The characters are historical characters such as Leif Erikson, Freydis Eriksdottir and others. In addition, the end of the Viking Age, dated 1066, is demonstrated here.
“Clark” / Clark

The story of this series is based on real events and tells about the famous Swedish robber Clark Olofsson. The plot features the infamous Norrmalmstorg robbery that took place in 1973. It was then that the now commonly used term “Stockholm syndrome” appeared. Bill Skarsgård played the title role.
“Man vs. bee” / Man vs. Bee

Trevor Bingley takes a job as caretaker of a luxurious home for a very wealthy couple. While the owners are on vacation, Trevor has to look after the order in the house, feed the dog and perform other simple tasks. But the situation begins to get out of control with the appearance of an obsessive bumblebee, haunting the unfortunate man.
A real war is unfolding between man and insects, which will lead to catastrophic consequences. Rowan Atkinson, in his trademark manner, continues to portray Mr. Bean, so that the viewer will be in a good mood.
The Sandman / The Sandman

One of the biggest series premieres on Netflix this year. The plot is based on the comic book series of the same name by Neil Gaiman. After being released from a long captivity, the dream king Morpheus plunges into a dangerous adventure to restore order in his kingdom. The Watcher

Another rather interesting story based on real, slightly creepy events. When the Brannock family moves into a new luxury home in Westfield, they begin to receive threatening letters from an unknown person who calls himself The Watcher. This forces the heroes to launch their own investigation to reveal the identity of the intruder. Almost everyone around them falls into the field of view of the spouses – from strange neighbors to a local police detective. In real life, the Watcher’s unfortunate victims had to put the house up for sale, and the letter writer himself was never exposed. Read our impressions of the series here.
“Taste for Life” / From Scratch

One of the recent novelties and adaptation of Tembi Locke’s memoir of the same name. A young artist in Italy meets a chef with whom she falls madly in love. But ahead of the heroine are waiting for a very difficult test. The main role was played by Zoe Saldana, known to the general public for her role as Gamora in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities

For the Mexican director Guillermo del Toro, this year has been extremely productive. At the beginning of the year, his noir retro thriller Nightmare Alley was released, then the horror anthology The Cabinet of Rarities was released on Netflix, and in December we will be able to watch his version of Pinocchio. “The Cabinet of Rarities” is a collection of 8 different stories, most of which are based on the works of famous writers, and some were written by del Toro himself. It turned out to be a little uneven, but a very interesting collection of horrors, timed exactly for Halloween. Our review is here.

While traveling across the Atlantic, this steamer comes across a ship that went missing only a few months ago. The crew decides to board the missing ship, but a terrible and terrible secret awaits them there.

Wednesday Addams enters Nevermore Academy and embarks on a series of unusually interesting adventures. The young heroine will have to face a long-standing secret concerning her family. A new project with Tim Burton as one of the directors is by no means recommended to be missed, especially for fans of the creepy Addams family.
