Yesterday morning, Huawei announced a release date for its new foldable smartphone, the Huawei Mate X2. And today, we got the first renders showing the front panel of the device.
Photos confirm that the smartphone will fold with the screen inward. There will be frames of the same size on all sides, and on the additional external screen, there is a cutout for a dual selfie camera.
The smartphone will receive an 8.1-inch main screen with a resolution of 2480 x 2220 pixels, while the external screen will have a diagonal of 6.45 inches. The heart of the device is likely to be the Kirin 9000. The battery capacity will be 4400 mAh. Also, the smartphone is credited with a quad camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor. Also, the camera equipment includes additional sensors of 16, 12, and 8 megapixels. The front camera will shoot at 16 megapixels.
The presentation of Huawei Mate X2 will take place on February 22.
