The elec shared information that Samsung will be producing foldable displays for Google, Oppo, and Xiaomi and announced these companies’ plans to release new devices.
Oppo is working on a clamshell smartphone. The device will receive an external display of 1.5″ -2″ and a main foldable screen. Renders of a similar device from Oppo have already appeared on the network:
The foldable smartphone from Xiaomi will most likely be similar to the Galaxy Z Fold. At least, according to the photos taken in January this year. It is reported that the size of the main display will be 8.02″, and the size of the external one -6.38″.
As for the Google device, there is not much information about it yet. According to rumors, Samsung will make “about 7.6” foldable displays for the Mountain View company. The announcement of the device may take place in the fourth quarter of 2021.
