Samsung has finally unveiled its new rugged smartphone called the Galaxy XCover 5. This smartphone is suitable for those who constantly work in extreme conditions. It can withstand impacts from great heights, drops into water, and high temperatures.
Galaxy XCover 5 comes with a 5.3-inch TFT-screen with HD + resolution and an embedded 5-megapixel front camera. It is noteworthy that the screen recognizes touches even when wearing gloves. The smartphone’s autonomy is provided by a replaceable 3000 mAh battery with 15 W fast charging support.
The hardware base is accompanied by the Exynos 850 SoC, accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory.
Galaxy XCover 5 has received IP68 water and dust protection, MIL-STD-810G certification, and a shock-resistant case that allows it to withstand a 1m drop.
Among other things, the smartphone received NFC, Android 11 OS, and a programmable button.
