At yesterday’s presentation and Redmi K40 smartphones and new laptops, the company also showed a new TV. It’s called Redmi Max 86 and costs $1240.
It is not difficult to guess that the TV has a diagonal of 86 inches. It is an IPS display that supports 4K resolution and covers 92% of the DCI-P3 color space. Also, there is support for 120Hz refresh rates and MEMC and HDR10 + technologies.
The hardware base of the TV is a 22-nanometer single-chip platform with a quad-core Arm Cortex-A72 CPU. And the GPU Mali-G52 MC1 is responsible for the graphics capabilities. RAM is 2 GB, and flash memory is 32 GB. The operating system is MIUI for TV 3.0. On top of that, the TV received support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies.
The TV has three HDMI ports, two USB ports, and an RJ-45 network connector to connect various devices.
Redmi Max 86 will go on sale on March 4th, but only in China so far.
