Not the coolest, but a very successful membrane-type model with traditionally wide possibilities.
It is believed that a good gaming keyboard should only be mechanical. But there is one problem: if you are not only playing on the computer, but also working, the “mechanics” may not be very convenient, especially if the work is connected with printing large volumes of text (who, if not us, know this). As a rule, it is very noisy, and the long key travel interferes with fast typing. Then you have to look for compromise options.
One such option may well be the membrane keyboard Razer Cynosa V2. The first version of Cynosa appeared three years ago, and V2 was essentially an update to it. The cost of such a model is about 5,000 rubles, which is not so expensive by the standards of gaming keyboards.
Razer Cynosa V2 Specifications

What’s interesting in Razer Cynosa V2?
The Razer Cynosa V2 looks like a classic keyboard, no design fancy. The plastic is very pleasant; even with strong pressure, no squeaks occur. At the bottom, there are four rubberized feet and traditional “flags” that allow you to adjust the angle of the keyboard. Another interesting feature is the wire routing grooves. It can be brought out in the center, towards the right, or towards the left.
The “second version” of Cynosa now has multimedia keys and a volume rocker in the upper right corner.
The main keys work quietly (your colleagues or those at home will say thank you), while the moment of actuation is felt quite clearly, although not as perfectly as in the mechanical versions. Again, to type is not as convenient as on low-profile “membranes,” but this is not an office “keyboard” at all.
To use all the “chips” Razer Cynosa V2, you need to install proprietary software Razer Synapse. After that, you will have just huge opportunities for customizing the device. Let’s start with the look: in Synapse, you can change the overall color of the backlight and “paint” at least each key separately. For example, leave the WASD backlight and turn off everything else.
Plus, you can add effects. Let’s say start a “wave” along the line of service F-keys. The keyboard also supports assigning macros and saving profiles.
Final Impression: Should you buy Razer Cynosa V2?
Unless you’re a hardcore gamer, you don’t have to buy an expensive mechanical keyboard. The Razer Cynosa V2 is enough for a full-fledged gaming keyboard that will be comfortable for other tasks. With the customization options, it will obviously not be boring: you can change the style and color of the backlighting or add new macros to key combinations every day.
