Announced last year, the animated series Cars on the Road has finally received a full trailer and a premiere date on the Disney+ streaming platform.
Almost all the heroes of the Cars franchise will appear in the animated series, but Lightning McQueen and Mater will remain the main characters. True to the Road Movie genre, a pair of friends will embark on a long journey where they will have to face new friends and scary situations.
The first season of Cars on the Road will have nine episodes and is scheduled to premiere on September 8, 2022.
