The premiere of the premium electric car Mercedes-Benz EQS is expected on April 15 of this year. However, the Germans decided to publish the novelty’s interior in advance photos of the most interesting thing. As you remember from the Mercedes-Benz Vision EQS concept, the developers would take a solid part of the front panel with touch screens.
And in the end, reality exceeded expectations rather than disappointment. Three OLED screens occupy almost the entire front panel of the serial EQS with diagonals of 17.7, 12.3, and 12.3 inches. As a result, a huge visual array with a diagonal of 141 cm (or 55 inches in more conventional units) is formed.
At night, the interior lighting is automatically switched on, which makes the interior of the Mercedes-Benz EQS even more futuristic.
Interestingly, the Germans will offer a more relaxed version of the front panel for those not very good at such several screens. Instead of a single super-long screen, they will install a dashboard and a separate screen for the infotainment system. The remaining space will be covered with a panel of metal, wood, or other premium material.
Recall that by the end of 2022, Mercedes-Benz will launch six electric vehicles of the EQ family at once, including the Mercedes-Benz EQS luxury sedan, the Mercedes-Benz EQA compact crossover, and the Mercedes-Benz EQB mid-size crossover, the Mercedes-Benz EQE business sedan. A pair of electric crossovers are based on the Mercedes-Benz EQS and Mercedes-Benz EQE sedans, codenamed SUV EQS, and SUV EQE.
