Together with the Nord 2, OnePlus presented its new headphones – Buds Pro. They are marketed as successors to the original Buds released last year.
One of the salient features of these earbuds is their support for adaptive noise-canceling technology. It automatically detects the noise level and mutes it, giving the wearer a complete immersion in music or conversation.
Both earbuds are equipped with three microphones capable of filtering noise levels up to 40 dB. This provides a better and more comfortable sound adapted to different situations. OnePlus claims that this gives the Buds Pro an edge over conventional active noise-canceling headphones, which have a fixed noise-canceling level.
Inside, the headphones are equipped with two large 11mm dynamic drivers and Dolby Atmos support. They also come with a OnePlus Audio ID sound profile that is carefully calibrated to suit the user’s audio sensitivity requirements.
Perhaps the main feature of the OnePlus Buds Pro was the increased battery life. Together with the charging case, the earbuds can work up to 38 hours. This is, of course, when the noise is turned off. The runtime is 5 hours with noise cancellation, and the charging case will increase it by another 23 hours.
In Europe, the headphones will go on sale on August 25th. The price is 150 euros.
