Apple has ended negotiations with Hyundai regarding the production of the autonomous Apple Car. But almost immediately, the apple giant started looking for new partners willing to help with the implementation of this project.

Nissan today announced its readiness to cooperate with Apple. “We need to come up with new initiatives” and “work with companies that have knowledge and experience through partnerships and collaboration,” Nissan CEO Makoto Uchida said Tuesday. This was his answer to the question about his willingness to cooperate with Apple.

Industry analysts believe Apple will be looking for one or more partners, even if it contracts with Nissan.
