New locations, mobs, boats and dirt: a big update for Minecraft will be released on June 7 - Wild

The Wild update for Minecraft is almost ready. Mojang and Microsoft will release The Wild on all platforms on June 7th. It will add two biomes, a mangrove swamp, as well as “deep darkness” (Deep Dark), which hides evil mobs (such as Squealer and Guardian), and special resources. It is also possible to travel by boat with a chest, so there is no longer a need to leave supplies when crossing a lake.

The update will also add a mud block (made from mud and water), an item collector mob (alleys), and a frog that grows from tadpoles. She even produces “frog lanterns” after being attacked by magma.

The Wild Update will be available to download on June 7th for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows, and Minecraft: Java Edition on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
