Microsoft’s Bug Bounty program has paid $ 13.6 million in reward for vulnerabilities found to more than 340 security researchers in 58 countries through its Bug Bounty programs.

In total, for the period from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, Microsoft received more than 1,200 reports through the program Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure (CVD). The largest reward – $ 200 thousand – was paid under the Hyper-V Bounty Program. The average size of one award was $ 10,000.

Total at the moment Microsoft supports 17 Bug Bounty programs. New challenges and scenarios have been added to the reward destinations this year.
