Some time ago, it was reported that after installing the next update of the Windows 10 operating system, users encountered problems in the operation of printers. As it turned out, when you try to open the print dialog box from Notepad, Office, or other programs, a blue screen appears, informing you about an abnormal system shutdown.

Microsoft has quickly dealt with the problem and released another Windows 10 update, which should address the causes of printer failures that arose after installing the previous update. In the update notes, Microsoft says the issue only affected “certain printers using some applications” but did not specify which ones. This seems to have affected some Kyocera, Ricoh, and Zebra printers.

Users of these printers are advised to install the latest Windows 10 update. To do this, open the Start menu, select Settings> Update and Security> Windows Update, and then click Check for Updates.
