LG’s 2021 OLED, QNED Mini LED, NanoCell, and UHD TV lines will ship with WebOS 6.0 preinstalled with a new look and new features. The main screen received a design in the form of tiles: in the upper part, there are various widgets and search, in the center is the recommended content, and just below – application shortcuts, a choice of image sources, access to connected devices, and other settings.

The updated Magic Remote has a row of quick launch buttons at the bottom. You can find keys to activate the Google Assistant and Alexa voice assistants and open the Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney +, and LG Channels apps. The remote received an NFC module, which allows you to quickly connect a smartphone to it to display various content on the TV screen.

Voice control is also available to users. For example, you can launch the Magic Explorer feature to provide you with additional information about what is currently being shown. Thus, you can learn more about the actors, locations, and other things related to the film or TV series. Next Picks, another cool feature, analyzes user preferences and offers two live programs and one option to watch from streaming services.

Visitors LG virtual booth at CES 2021 will first evaluate the company’s new TVs with WebOS 6.0.
