There are still a few months before the presentation of the iPhone 14, and the famous insider Ming-Chi Kuo has already begun to share information about the 15th series model. According to him, Apple is preparing to release its first smartphone with a periscope camera module next year. At the same time, only the top model, the iPhone 15 Pro Max, will receive it. The “younger” model (Phone 15 Pro) will receive a regular telephoto lens.

Kuo says the periscope will have 6x magnification and a 1/3-inch 12-megapixel sensor with sensor bias stabilization. By comparison, the iPhone 13 Pro only supports 3x zoom.

Kuo also predicts that Apple will introduce a periscope module in the 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models.
