Former SpaceX employee #1's space company, Impulse Space Propulsion, has raised $20 million in funding. She will be engaged in cheap delivery of payloads

At the end of 2020, a valuable employee, the developer of the Merlin and Raptor rocket engines, Thomas Muller, left SpaceX. After that, he founded his own space company Impulse Space Propulsion in September 2021.

Over time, the company plans to expand its space transportation services to geostationary space, the Moon and beyond. At the same time, it is planned to use environmentally friendly fuel and provide delivery and towing services at a low cost.

Impulse Space currently employs about 20 people, many of whom have worked with NASA, GE, Joe Gibbs Racing, Virgin. Recently, another former SpaceX employee, Barry Matsumori, joined the company. He was Senior Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Elon Musk’s Rocket Company from 2011 to 2015. He now works for Muller as chief operating officer.
