Yes, HTC still exists and even occasionally releases smartphones. The Taiwanese began 2021 with the inexpensive Desire 21 Pro 5G smartphone announcement, a representative of the once-popular line of devices.

Desire 21 Pro 5G is equipped with a 6.7 ″ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20: 9, and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G chipset is responsible for the performance of the smartphone. RAM is available 8 GB, built-in – 128 GB. There is a slot for microSD memory cards.
The four main camera modules include a 48 MP sensor (f / 1.8), an 8 MP ultra-wide (f / 2.2), a 2 MP macro camera (f / 2.4) and a 2 MP depth sensor (f / 2.4). Front camera resolution – 16 MP. The built-in battery capacity is 5000 mAh, it supports Quick Charge 4.0+ technology and 18 W wired charging.

The smartphone received Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC modules, two slots for SIM cards, a USB-C port, a fingerprint scanner (located on the side). The device is running not the most current version of Android 10.

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G will go on sale for about $ 430. So far, there is no information on whether the new product will be sold outside of Taiwan.
