ASUS has confirmed the name of its new flagship gaming smartphone and announced the date of its presentation. The company decided to skip the serial number 4, so the next ROG Phone will receive an index 5. The device will be presented during the online event on March 10th.

Not so long ago, the ROG Phone 5 was spotted on GeekBench, thanks to which it became known that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The smartphone will be available in configurations with 8 GB and 16 GB of RAM. The device will run Android 11.

Also, the ROG Phone 5 has been spotted in the TENAA database as well. It states that the device will receive a 6.78 ″ AMOLED display and a 6000 mAh battery. It is also reported that 65W charging will be implemented. Another interesting innovation should be a matrix display on the back panel for Aura Lightning to work.
