Redmi has officially unveiled its new gaming laptop called G 2021. It will be sold in Intel and AMD variants. Other key features of the device include a 144Hz display, up to 16GB of RAM, and RTX 3060 graphics.
The first version is equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core i5- 11260H processor, which is accompanied by 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory. The second version is based on AMD Ryzen 7 5800 and also has 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash memory. The operating system is Windows 10, but it will be upgraded to Windows 11 in the future.
The Intel variant comes with a 180W power adapter, and the AMD model comes with a 230W power adapter. Both versions also got a 16.1-inch screen, Wi-Fi 6, DTX: X Ultra Sound, a full-size backlit keyboard, Xiao AI smart assistant, Thunderbolt 4, USB-C and support for a Xiaomi game console.
For cooling laptops, the Hurricane Heat Dissipation 3.0 system with two fans and four inlets for heat dissipation is responsible. The AMD version additionally uses copper heat pipes for cooling.
The Redmi G 2021 version costs $1,081 on AMD and $880 on Intel. So far, laptops will only be sold in China. The global launch will take place a little later.
