Juho Sarvikas has been one of the driving forces behind Nokia and HMD Global for the past fifteen years. He served as director of smartphone manufacturing at HMD Global after the company decided to revive Nokia. Sarvikas, among other things, was involved in the presentation of new products and brand promotion.
At the end of March, he announced that he was leaving Nokia and HMD Global. Now it became known where the Finn will continue his career. He will take over as vice president of Qualcomm and president of the company’s North American division.
These changes were announced by Jim Cathy, President of Qualcomm Global. He tweeted this, and Juho Sarvikas retweeted the post and said he was delighted to join the company “at the epicentre of the 5G revolution.”
