Recently, a lot of attention has been paid to the network to the new audio-chat Clubhouse. The app allows you to create and join rooms where users can chat with each other in real-time. It’s a kind of live podcast, especially when bloggers and influencers make a room to discuss a specific topic. Even though this social network is still available only to iOS users, and even then by invites, its users are growing every day.
According to rumors, Facebook is already working on the creation of a rival Clubhouse. Mark Zuckerberg expressed interest in a new communication platform. He even joined some of the rooms over the weekend to chat about augmented reality.
If you’re waiting on Twitter Spaces, Twitter’s Clubhouse audio feature, then @kayvz says the beta is expanding to 3,000 more people tomorrow. Around 1,000 beta testing right now, and roll out is ramping up in coming weeks pic.twitter.com/SfQypQQpoy— Tom Warren (@tomwarren) February 9, 2021
The Facebook app is reportedly in the early stages of development. The project is called Fireside internally, but it may be renamed by the time of public release. In any case, this is more of a proactive game to roll out its own platform before Clubhouse becomes even more famous (of course, it will become more popular).
At the same time, Twitter started rolling out the Spaces feature to more users. About 3000 people were invited to test Spaces, and 1000 users already had this feature active. Twitter Spaces works similarly to the rooms in the Clubhouse, where users can chat in real-time.
Have you already used Clubhouse? How are your impressions?
