DJI has officially unveiled the FPV drone that allows you to fly in the first person. Previously, the company only offered goggles for third-party FPV drones, but now it has acquired its own model.
The drone is made in a design familiar to DJI devices. Vertical LED backlighting is provided on the front, allowing you to customize the color. The drone can accelerate to 100 km / h in just 2 seconds, and the maximum speed is 140 km/h. The device weighs about 795 grams. The maximum flight duration is 20 minutes.
Three control modes are provided: M, S, and N. N is suitable for beginners who are learning to fly a new drone. Mode S is hybrid, but M provides the user with complete freedom of flight. The quadcopter is equipped with various safety systems that prevent collisions, allow emergency braking, return to the take-off site, etc.
The drone is equipped with a 12 MP camera with a 1/2.3 ″ CMOS sensor. The viewing angle is 150 °, the aperture is f / 2.8, the range is ISO 100-12800. Supports 4K video recording at 50/60 fps, as well as Full HD up to 120 fps. The maximum video bitrate is 120 Mbps. The electronic stabilization system RockSteady is provided for the smoothness of the filmed material
You will need DJI FPV Goggles V2 goggles to fly the drone. They display images from the camera at up to 120 fps. DJI O3 (OcuSync 3.0) technology provides HD video transmission distance up to 10 km, bit rate up to 50 Mbps, and latency less than 28 ms. Supports automatic switching between 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz.
The DJI FPV Remote Controller is more like a console gamepad. It can work on a single battery charge for up to 9 hours. Also, users are offered DJI Motion Controller in the form of a joystick, which allows you to control the drone by turning your hand.
