The social network Clubhouse opened access to everyone and canceled the invitation system, which had been working since the platform’s launch. This was reported by the developers on their blog.

It took Clubhouse exactly one year to get out of beta testing. As the developers note, now absolutely everyone can join the platform, and the earlier existing registration system by invitation allowed the social network to develop evenly.

“If you have a club, you can post the link everywhere. If you are a creator with an audience, you can attract them all. If you are hosting a public event, anyone can participate. You can bring close friends, classmates, family members, colleagues, or anyone else with you. We have always wanted the Clubhouse to be open. Everyone in the world should have access to meaningful conversations. ”- Clubhouse

The developers also noted that over the past year, 50 colleagues had joined them. Now 58 people are engaged in the social network. According to The Verge, when the restrictions were lifted, the Clubhouse had more than 10 million users on its waiting list. The owners believe that they will face tough competition with other platforms.
