The release of the latest gaming smartphone, ASUS ROG Phone 5, is just around the corner. The phone was recently certified by TENAA and 3C regulators, and today it was tested in Geekbench.

The report states that the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor and has 16GB of RAM. In December, the ROG Phone 5 version with 8GB of RAM passed the same performance test. Both versions run Android 11. So, ASUS ROG Phone 5 (16 GB) scored 1125 points in single-core and 3714 points in multi-thread.
The previous report from TENAA showed that the smartphone dimensions would be 172.834 x 77.252 x 10.29 mm. Also, the smartphone will receive a 6.78-inch OLED screen with a high refresh rate. The 3C certification, in turn, revealed that the phone would receive a massive 6,000mAh battery that will support 66W fast charging.
The exact release date of the smartphone has not yet been announced.
