Android Auto recently gave users the ability to change screensavers, but it also has a more useful feature for creating custom Shortcuts for Google Assistant.

Shortcuts allow users to assign several tasks to a specific voice command (it can also be launched by tapping on the corresponding shortcut). For example, you can create a quick command that will close the garage doors, turn off the house’s lights, change the thermostat temperature, and turn on your favorite playlist. Alternatively, you can make a Shortcut that will launch navigation to an address that the voice assistant does not always hear correctly (for example, if there is a specific street name).

You can create quick commands in the Android Auto settings on your smartphone. The function is available in program version 6.1.
