– a South Park Towel with changing eyes and a customizable Ultraboost DNA with Lego bricks
Adidas presented two original pairs of sneakers at once: one was created in collaboration with LEGO. The second one – first of all, will appeal to fans of the popular satirical animated series “South Park”.
The new version of running shoes Ultraboost DNA stands out for its original custom design – distinctive three stripes made of real plastic Lego bricks. The model is called the Adidas Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates and is priced at $ 200 in the US market. There are transparent plastic inserts with 2×6 Lego plates on the sides of each shoe – just three Lego 2×2 plates in each of the stripes.

The Adidas Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates features other Lego elements, including a logo on the tongue and designer-styled inserts on the shoe’s upper and sole. The interior is also finished in Lego yellow. And although the shoe comes with a set of building blocks in basic colours, you can use any colour to customize the look to your liking.
Ultraboost DNA X Lego Plates went on sale on the Adidas website on April 8.
The second original pair of Adidas sneakers called Campus 80 “Towelie” made in the form of a Towel, the famous character of the animated series “South Park”. It was created specifically for World Marijuana Day on April 20.
The upper is crafted from a purple terry fabric similar to that of the Towel. The white eyes of the character are located on the tongues – when exposed to sunlight, they turn red and characteristic vessels appear on them. Small secret pockets are cut out under the tongues, and the character’s standard phrases are stuffed. On the right – I have no idea what’s going on, and on the left – Don’t forget to bring a towel. The sneakers are two Towel key chains – with ordinary white eyes and “smoky” ones.
How much the styled Adidas Towel sneaker will cost is still unknown.
