The account description states that it is an official 3dfx account. But the impression is spoiled by a grammatical error in the text of the publication. Also, the image used in the tweet was created by fans (a DeviantArt user).
As a reminder, 3dfx Interactive ceased its activities in December 2000, and the formal bankruptcy procedure ended in 2002. Most of the intellectual property, including SLI technology and most of the people involved in creating this intellectual property, went to NVIDIA.
So, if the post is genuine and 3dfx Interactive is back in business, it is likely that the company will return to its starting point and have to start over from the beginning, which seems unlikely.
